Yellow and Grey Modern Living Room

I am knee-deep in projects this week so I am sharing one of my latest and most favorite mood boards. Most of the items in this room can be purchased at Mitchell Gold and Bob Williams, In case you are not familiar with MGBW they have a mid-century, modern vibe. They also have a very beautiful line of traditional furniture with a clean and modern edge. That awesome coffee table is called the Yield Coffee Table from CB2
I hope to have a few of my projects ready for sharing this week. I am stepping out of my comfort zone so I am nervous to revel them but also excited too.

This is one of my favorite rooms of yours. I have seen a lot of designs using that background and this is one of the best especially since you kept the yellow drapes. Once I used that background and had to cover up the drapes with teal drapes to go with my scheme.

ThanksCharisse. This is one of my favorite boards too. It was one of those magical boards that just comes together quickly and effortlessly (Wish the all worked like that!). One of the things I like about Olioboard is that you can change things like the key in the corner. The real key is tiny but I wanted something big for the room so I changed it. Now I REALLY want a giant key for my living room. I did a quick look online and couldn’t find one. My sweet husband says we can make one so I am super excited about that project. Have you seen the knock-off tables he has made for me? They are under the DIY tab.

I know what you mean about changing things to make them bigger or smaller or turning them another way. If only real life was that easy. Olioboard is so much fun but creating real life designs is so different when you have a budget, and all kinds of other considerations that the virtual world does not have.
