More of Our Jack Frost Christmas
Sunday, 5. December 2010
I just wanted to post a couple more pictures of our Jack Frost Christmas before I move on. I have a couple more Christmas craft projects I am debating whether to attempt this year or save for next year. I will most likely save them for next year (I have a ton of shopping to do yet, not to mention baking, parties to attend and host, oh, “It’s the Most Wonderful Busy Time of Year”).
We made a ton of snowflakes this year. We taped them on the windows and hung them from the ceiling. We all loved making them and it was a no cost decoration.
This is a detail that might not be obvious. I used my bottle of fake snow to frost all of the windows. I bought a bottle at Hobby Lobby for $3.00. I used it on my holly garland, my silver spray painted gourds and on all my windows. I still have a lot left in the can too. I really like this stuff. There are only two drawbacks, first it is for indoor use only and second my kids won’t leave it alone. They like to draw pictures and write messages in it. I have had to redo the windows so many times, I have finally given up. The only windows still intact are the ones here that are blocked by the shutters. Thankfully, it cleans off surfaces (and kids) very easily.
